This FT lift is a little more, but being bolt on sure will be easier for me to spend the extra money for it.

Thanks you god for jk-forum and internet
Thought I'd post up just to give some info. The Teraflex control arm brackets DO indeed use existing boltholes in the frame to align the brackets. On the front brackets it uses the auto tranny crossmember bolt hole on the bottom of the frame, and the two bolts on either side of the front end of the tranny cross member. Bolt the brackets in then weld them, no way at all to screw it up. On the rear passenger side it uses a bolt for the gas tank skid to line it up, again its damn near impossible to screw it up. On the driver side rear there are no holes to align the bracket, so you must measure the pass side. There is a rib on the frame rail that the new bracket has a slot in to clear it, I measured there. Line up the driver side bracket using those measurements, tack weld in place, verify, then weld on. I did mine at the auto hobby shop on base using a 2 post lift. Did it with a coworker. Took 2 days of 9 hrs each. Just wanted to clear up some misinformation.

When it comes to long arms Full Traction and Teraflex were the only two I ever considered. Both are excellent kits! Full Traction is a HUGE plus if you dont know how to weld. Also a plasma cutter will knock off about 8 hrs of the install time. That's how long it took me and a coworker to cut off the stock control arm brackets with a grinder and cutoff wheel.

i cannot wait until i got enough saved to get the ft kit!!! plus if something were to get messed up u can bolt in a new part instead of having to weld.

Are you asking about caster angle?? If so, it should be between +4.2 (stock) and +6.0 degrees. More caster will get you better drivability at the expense of longevity. Less caster you will have better longevity at the expense of drivability. In other words, it's a compromise.
