Question Full Traction long arm Suspension Systems

I've read some links about suspensions and it seams Long Arm is the way to go. I've looked around on the internet and seams that most LA suspensions require welding. I found Full Traction which says that they have a 4" and 6" 100% bolt on system. I was wondering if anybody has one or knows anything bout them. If there good. They only have a 1year warrenty. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Yep, completely bolt on. You do have to cut all the stock brackets off, but you have to do that with any long arm kit.

Its kinda hard to explain the installation, but brackets bolt on with existing holes in the frame, then you drill out the remaining holes on the brackets, You really cant screw up the install.

I have about 15,000 miles on the lift, and its done great. I'm currently running the 3" long arm lift with 37's. Wayoflifes running the Fulltraction long arm with his offroad evolution coil overs.

whats really cool about this long arm, unlike any other is the replacement of the stock cross member, along with the exaust skids.

yes, they make a 6" long arm kit, you can run 40's on the 6" long arm.

Bob from 4wd hardware is running it. Here's an old picture, when it was first installed with 37's

To add to "Pig's" answer.... On FT's site; when you pull up the web page for the 4"LA kit; if you look at the bottom left you will see a short phrase that gives you the part number for the 6" kit. All parts in the kit are the same for 4' & 6" except for the springs.

I'm running the 6" kit, and I can't say enough about the quality of the parts and performance. My jeep rides way better than stock; it feels like it's floating, both on and off the road. I purchased the kit fully intending to install it myself; but after researching the install instructions (you can call FT and they will email them to you) and the additional things I wanted to have done for the build; I decided to have the shop (JC Fab & design) do the install. Besides, my driveway has too much of a slope to safely allow the work at home.

Before I bit the bullet I PM'd "mmcan" who is running the 6" kit; and he was very helpful when answering all of my questions. Feel free to PM me if you have any other ?'s. In my opinion; and I think mmcan will agree with me; you can't go wrong with this kit.

have you considered droping your 6" kit down to 3" and running 37's with flat fenders?

if you think the 6" rides nice.. the 3" is even smoother

Howdy Pig; It's a pleasure to post with you again!

I had originally considered the 4"LA kit with 35's; but I decided that, with the longer wheel base of the 4dr, I wanted the extra ground clearance. I can understand how the lower kit would be smoother though.

I've heard nothing bad about the FT long arm kit. I just wonder why people would want a bolt on long arm kit. It's not like you can go back to stock. So why mess with having to retorque all those bolts? Can you weld in th FT if you prefer?
