No kidding. They actually look a lot like the control arms they have for their TJ long arm kits (what I have now on my TJ) and they really are awesome. Did you notice the front control arms have an arc to them?

Hey everyone, I just got word from Northridge4x4 that they now have Full Traction Ultimate Lower Adjustable Control Arms on sale. The pricing on them will be $259 for the fronts (FTS-50-7102-04) and $239 for the rears (FTS-50-7102-05). Not too shabby for such an awesome upgrade

But are they "in stock"? Or are they "due to ship soon."

Default Why upgrade lower control arms?

I'm sure this will sound really silly but what is the value of upgrading the control arms? The comments make me think it's something I might want to consider but I really don't know what difference it would make on/off road.

Sorry for the simple question but if you don't ask you don't learn.

In general: It improves ride both on- and off-road. If they are larger, they will be sturdier.

Pardon my naievity, but these would be replacements for factory or would they be for lifted rigs? I am used to the leaf spring suspension systems and changing a coil system is different. I see they are adjustable so I am guessing that they would work with stock suspension.

Thanks,
Scrambler

Typically, they are designed to correct the position of your axle after installing a lift. The more you go up, the more your axles will move in towards the center of your Jeep. Depending on how high you go, adjustable upper control arms would be needed as well to correct your caster up front and to set your pinion angle in the rear.
