Anyone run a custom fuel tank on their JK?

I know GenRight has one but it like $1000.... has to be something cheaper...



Any other options-custom or not... just don't want to run 20 gallons in big red tanks strapped to everything possible....

Would love to hear ideas....

 

I doubt that these are any cheaper even if you do manage to find them in the US.

If you make this work please do a write up. I am interested in second tank but it is little outside my skill set right now.

 

summit racing sells several brands and sizes of tanks and genright sells a bolt on ring that make the jk pump assembly work with after market tanks, you just need to get one with the right depth or you will have to adjust the rods on the jk pump.

The genright tanks are expensive for a reason, they are very stout and well build when compared to other brands out there. If you are going to do a cell in the back then their $750 20 gallon jk tank may be the way to go and you will save the cost of a new pump and having to run an after market fuel gage.

 

Genrights fuel tank also comes with the skid plate.
