Default FT front track bar noise ??

ok not sure if it's comming from the bushings on the front FT traction bar but I'm getting a annoying creeking noise it's not constant as in over every bump but it is enough that with the window down it's driving me crazy. the noise was'nt there with the lift or anything else but I noticed it after I installed the track bar and 3/4 spacers just wondering if anyone that has installed a FT track bar has heard this ??

if I was'nt so far from home (on vacation) I'd bust the track bar loose and try and lube up the bushing to see if that helps but just thought I'd ask you guys if this has happend to anyone else...

Default track bar squeak

I have a Full Traction rear track bar along with a 4" Teraflex kit. Everything from Teraflex has grease zerks. The Full Traction track bar for the rear has no grease zerks and is driving me crazy. Any movement and the bushing makes a loud creaking sound. I guess I'll have to grease it or something, but I am thinking of getting rid of it in favor of one with zerks. It's the only thing on the Jeep that makes any noise.

Hey DH, when WOL and I installed the trackbar, we greased the bushings with white lithium grease and have not had any noise at all.

You are not too far from us...you are welcome to come on down and we'll grease it up for ya!

Default I am having same problem but grease didn't help

I am having the same noise in my trackbar with the FT 3" Premium.

Put the JK on the lift the other day and found that the FT trackbar is binding up badly. Basically, the jeep has about 14" more dropout on one side than the other. That can't be normal.

I WAS wondering why the shop had to tighten the bolt so much to get it to stop loosening up. The trackbar is binding so badly that the bolt is loosening up, hopefully this binding won't break the bracket, something has to give, right?

Anyone check to see if their FT trackbar is allowing full movement? Maybe the grease is just a bandaid to a problem. Going to talk with FT about this when I get some time, but not sure it will do any good. Tried to discuss with them why my ESP started going crazy after we put on their lift...they told me over and over again, it is the steering wheel, but we know for sure it is not.

Any ideas or comments are appreciated.

as for the ESP issue well talking to FT or anyother lift company about it is'nt going to get you anywhere. it's not a problem with the lift ,but it dose seem to be a thing with some jeeps I know with mine I have to REALLY try to set it off.

ok 14" more dropout on one side vs. the other ?? well that measurement dos'nt sound right. but I'd have to say it's a link arm problem and not a track bar issue.....

What? Really?? Man, I drove my JK 750+ miles out to Moab, wheeled the heck out of it once I got there and then drove it back with absolutely no noise or problems what so ever. Also, I can tell you for sure that I wasn't seeing any binding but rather some of the best flex I have seen on any of my Jeeps yet. Just out of curiosity, which bolt is coming undone, the frame mount bolt or the axle mount?

Also, as far as the ESP problem you have goes, I'd have to agree with FT on this one. So long as your steering wheel has been recentered, you shouldn't have any problems. But, having said that, would you happen to have a JK that was purchased or built before December of 2006? It seems to me that people with JKs made before this time have more ESP issues than others.
