Default FT Adj Trackbar installation in progress - Help needed!

All,
I am trying to install the front adjustable trackbar following the write-up but I cannot get the rod end lined up to the axle mount no matter how much I turn the wheel. I have the swaybar end links disconnected but the shocks still connected. I don't know if I am rushing and not thinking straight but there must be something simple I am missing. Any help would be appreciated since I would like to get the front done today and the rear tomorrow. I guess any tips for getting the rear lined up would help too.

I anticipated this to be a piece of cake but it is being one so to speak!

Thx...

Use a ratchet strap from the frame to the axle on the other side, and use it to pull the Jeep in the direction you need it to go.
Or get a big friend to push on the Jeep the direction you need it to go

You can also jack up one side of the axle until in lines up

Well the ratchet strap worked...should of thought of that as I did that for the rear when I put the lift on. However, I have to take it apart again as the axle shifted too far. Actually the results are a little confusing. I started with .625 on the drivers' side and .375 on the passengers' side. So I set the adjustable rod end to .25 which should have over compensated by .125. However, the results are .25 DS and .75 PS.

Any thoughts?

Thx...
