Default FT Adj Front Track Bar – Install question

OK. Pretty basic install right? Right BUT...

I’ve installed the adj bar and almost shortened it all the way down to the end of the bar. Well, after installing and re-measuring like WOL said to...I’m still off by 1/8” wider on my passenger side....should I shorten it ALL the way? Now, I haven’t compared it yet but I think this will make it shorter than my stock bar...so why did I buy this track if it didn’t do anything?

BTW: TF2.5 BB with 315/75/16’s(35’s) installed...

If you are still off then yes shorten it up.

It is adjustable so that you can make it perfect.

Thanks David.

So to be certain...

If I'm measuring longer by 1.8" from the passenger side, then I should shorten the bar even more by 1/8" right?

you need to split that value in half.

is your axle 1.8 inches off still?

If you measure that you are off by 1/8 side to side you are really off 1/16 inch.

1/4" off, just remeasured...and actually longer on the driver's side...so I think I need to make the track bar longer by half of that right?
