Default Frt drivrshaft

Am looking for a new front driveshaft, I just installed a rancho 3 inch trail kit and am in need if some help choosing a shaft. I have read good things about Tom woods or Adams. And some places have said I need to measure my driveshaft ? Any help would be nice.

Well go ahead and measure just so you have that , but Adams, Coast, J E Reel, Tom Woods all good to go right off the shelf.just tell them what year and if 2 door or 4. I have fr JE Reel it's nice.

Just be sure to request Spicer or Neapco u-joints. Tom Woods for instance, uses a cheaper joint unless you specify. Most drive shaft issues I see are usually due to a cheap u-joint.

I have a Woody. They asked for a measurement. It's not rocket science; just get out the tape and measure as shown here ...

While one might think it's convenient to not have to measure, truth is that not all lifts give the same results, partially because of different lift designs, and partially because of different vehicle weights. It's best to go with a manufacturer who will custom cut the length for your Jeep.

EDIT: That is for a Tom Woods DS. Others may require a different measurement.
