I would say rotate more often. The front has more weight so they will be worn out quicker. Put the better tires on front till they look more even.

Rotating is good for the tires, but the OP has almost half the tire gone in 4000 miles. There is something else going on besides lack of rotating.

My rears wore out faster than my front... Just like all my vehicles... I say alignment is a good start. It doesn't cost much either comepared to new tires.

Called four wheel parts today, they think it is either caster or ball joints. Taking the jeep to them Monday. I will update when I find out what the problem was.

If you take it to 4wheel parts don't let them check it out if they don't have an alignment rack because the two in my area don't. Caster doesn't cause tire wear it only pulls the the side with less Bad ball joint is more of a camber wear

I would check the ball joints before taking it to 4WP- last thing you want is to fix something that doesn't need it.

Have you done a chalk test to see what the tread pattern looks like?

Are you running spacers?

I checked for play in the wheel while I had it on jack stands with a pry bar and saw no movement.

I am not using wheel spacers.

I am not familiar with the chalk test. I will do some research on that and give it a try.

Toe in or out can be a huge factor in tire wear also. Measure the distance at the front and at the rear of the tire from a common point (i.e. center of the tire. If they are tipped in real far or out they will scrub while you drive and wear very very quickly.

Carried the jeep to local shop that installed the lift. He put it on the alignment rack. Said everything is still aligned, ball joints are good, all bolts on the suspension are still tight, and the front tires are worn evenly. He recommended that I find a jeep specialist to check it out because he has never seen a tire loose 70% of life before first rotation. Any recommendations? I am in north mississippi. At this point I am thinking 4WP in Memphis is my best bet.

I called 4 wheel parts in memphis to ask about making an appointment. They said no appointment would be needed. Today I get there after a 2 hour drive and they tell me I need to make an appointment. They will not get anymore of my money!!! I am shaken with anger at this moment.
