Default Front SKid Plate for Or-Fab

So I'm looking at getting the Or-Fab JK Front Stubby: OR-FAB 83224 - OR-FAB Front Stubby HD Bumper with Factory Fog Light Cutouts for 07-13 Jeep® Wrangler & Wrangler Unlimited JK - Quadratec

My question is what front skid will work with this bumper? Do I even need one and if so, any suggestions?

Thanks guys!

Got the same bumper. You'll also need the vaccum pump relocation kit. It's not difficult to do just have to take your time. For the skid plate i use one. it's for the rubicons with e-disco to protect it but if u don't have the disco its your call and also made by orfab

So even if I don't buy the sunken winch bumper I still have to relocate the pump?

Yes the pump sits right on the lower frame as I remember and I also have the non-winch bumper too. I would buy the relocation just to be safe

I'm looking for a more full skid plate though, something similar to the PSC, JCR, Rugged Ridge, etc. Basically the ones that extend the width of a stubby. But it seems like most say they only work with their brand bumper?

I put that exact bumper on my 12 jk without the relo brkt. Top of bumper cleared the pump just fine.

According to their site this one doesn't require it because it doesn't have the recessed winch mount. But I bought it to be safe

Good the worst is you have to return it other than installing the bumper and it hitting the pump and having to wait for the part
