Default front and rear track bars

How hard is it to install and adjust the front and rear track bars AFTER a lift has already been installed also how hard would it be to install the steering stablizer?

I have read the write up already and it seems easy - doesnt mean it will be though so thought I would ask just in case I want to wait for them to come in and reschedule my install with my dealer for when it all comes in.

Ordered it all from northridge but half of the stuff was shipped from the manufactor so its up in the air when it will get here. I already have my OME kit though so I might just let the dealer install the springs and shocks and do the front and rear track bars my self.

The bars are really easy to do after the fact. Just follow WOL's right up. It also helps to have someone there to turn the wheel back and forth to align to front bolt. A floor jack under one side of the axle can also be used to align the bolts.

Do it yourself! The lift is actually really easy to install too if you have the tools.

Well I am letting my dealer install it for warranty reasons, they said they would be cool with it, and said I would be fine as long as I bring it back to them. They said if I took it somewhere else they might say something stupid about it being the lift.

Plus they are doing me really reasonable I think. $150 installed. Its worth that much $ just to know i wont get shit about my lift if i need anything

Without the track bars will they be able to center my steering wheel?

Id rather have them do everything for me but that may not be possible since my track bars just shipped today I am looking at next week for them to get here.

Yep they can still center the wheel, you might just have to give it a minor tweek once the front trackbar goes on.

There is a good write up on here for the oil/trans skid. I also have some pics of the brackets in my gallery. Im not sure if they have directions out yet for it.

Make sure you post some pics!

I did the steering stabilizer this past weekend... it was cake! I did the Superlift stabilizer which also included a relocation bracket but was really simple. I will be doing the trackbar as soon as I come up with the money. But, it will be really easy to them after the lift. However, I did find that I will have to take apart the steering stabilizer when I do the trackbar, so you might want to do them at the same time as long as things will be apart anyway.

Have fun!

any drilling required for the stabilizer? or does it just mount up?

When you say take apart the stab what do you mean?

you have to drill out one of the holes that is allready in the mount to a bigger size, 17/32 is what it tells you in the instructions.
