front locker on 08 JK will not disengage

ARB also makes one that will fit a Rubicon housing. But that's not likely the case here.

Thanks everyone I will try your suggestions tomorrow (Sat) I am sure it is locked you can really tell on the pavement it makes no noise when driving or when it engaged it is the original electric locker and has for the past 4 years worked flawlessly locking and unlocking until now. Thanks again I will update everyone when I know something

If it is truly the locker, do not despair! There are rebuild kits available for the magnet and such. You should be able to repair it without having to replace it.

Thanks for all the ideas the screwdriver worked still not sure why it would not disengage and have not had a chance to try it again hopefully just a one time fluke.

Once mine started to stick it just got worse so start prepping for a repair or replacing. The screwdriver trick worked for me but only when the tires were raised off the ground so you could spin the tires and that's a pain in the trail.
