Default Front license plates on aftermarket bumpers

I live in NJ where the state troopers aren't very understanding unless you are the governor. Can you get away with not mounting your front plate on the new bumpers? Talk about spoiling a great look.

Same problem here in MD. you could put it in your windshield but unfortunately it has to be visible from the front of your vehicle.

just drill some holes and hammer it to the curves

this is my Amigo with an example of the "bend the plate to fit" method

I agree that it kills the look but we do offer lisc. mounting holes on our front bumpers above (or over, if you don't have a winch) the fairlead hole.

I used zip ties on my TJ to hold the plate to the bumper. While it sounds ghetto, it really didn't look bad. I used a white for the front of the plate and black ones for around the back. Fron a distance, you couldn't even tell.

I haven't upgraded the stock bumper on the JK, yet, so I haven't had to worry about it.
