Now I'm new to this, so don't be too harsh.... . Are there any photos of off-road lights actually mounted on top of the JK front fenders, ala old military vehicle style? What with the kind-of retro JK styling (common these days on D.C. vehicles), how might it look?
For that matter, for jeeps that don't get off-road much, how about retro style flat running boards that tie together the front fenders and rear flares, since the JK has the large front fenders?

Just wondering.

 

I think the fenders may be too flemsy to support a light, especially when traveling at speed. You might be able to add a brace under it though. Maybe osmebody can do a quick photoshop to see what it would look like before you go to the trouble.

As for the running boards...I guess you could, but the lines might not be too "clean" since (I think) the flares don't come down low enough, so the running boards would have to go up to meet them. Besides, running boards belong on Granddad's pickup, not a Jeep (just kidding
