I have a 11 and swapped the DS with something earlier. Dropped the shaft out and kept the yokes in. 12 bolts and good to go. You may wanna get a small 1/4" socket to get in close to the bolts. It's an hours or 2 at most. Not hard at all

The drive shafts for the 2012-2013 JKs are different lengths than the 2007-2011 because of the different drivetrain (engine and transmission). I'm not saying they aren't interchangeable, but I'd double check the lengths and clearances to be sure.

Do y'all have any insight of where the caster should be so I don't tear this new one up?

So if I'm not really knowledgeable about how it should be.. how should I go about doing it?
