I finally gave in and ordered extended brake lines. $130 well spent.

Do some reading on swapping brake lines on JKs. You want to avoid the squishy pedal issue. Simple steps: have someone plug the open line with their finger so fluid doesn't leak out. Attach new line to caliper, open bleeder and use a syringe to fill the line with fluid. Close bleeder, connect to hard line. Repeat other side. Bleed brakes.

If air gets into the ABS, it's bad news....
