frame welding????

Default frame welding????

looking at side steps that require welding. has anyone welded on a 2012 jku frame? what do i need to disconnect? i know all the old cars i've welded on is just disconnect and remove the battery... my jku has a little more going on electronically tho lol. what all is necessary any other precautions or warnings?

To the best of my knowledge just d/c the negative battery cable and you're good. I did this when I welded on gussets and had no issues afterward.
