It appears that the Adventure series is the Evolution series renamed.
Fox is simplifying their line, offering the Adventure and Performance series in 2.0 shocks, and the Factory only in 2.5 going forward. At least thats what my research has shown.
Factory is top of the line, Performance is middle and Adventure/Evolution is entry level.

Also, if you live somewhere that salts the roads, the old Evolution series of shocks had a steel body whereas the Performance Series has an aluminum body and won't rust.

The Performance series wont rust but they corrode horribly. My daughters are trashed after 1 winter. No way they are going to clean up.
