Default Fox Racing vs Bilstein 5100

As anyone run both of these shocks? If so would you mind commenting on the difference and your preference.

Ive run the 5100s and while they are certainly a good shock they were not my favorite.

Really trying to dial in my economically feasible perfect set up for my newest JKU as Im very close to ordering the suspension aspect of this Jeep. Almost there with all my armor and the wheels and tires ordered......

Thanks!

I went from the 5100's to the 2.0 fox, and honestly I didn't notice a difference at all. They look better being all shinny silver!

No complaints with the 5100s. Great ride.

I have the bilstein 5100 and my friend the fox 2.0, I've tried both on and off road and i prefer my shocks : very smooth on road and good pressure over bumps in streets, off road they work great too. have rock krawler 3.5''lift kit with 35" duratrac and my friend the teraflex 3'' with 35'' km2, that could be an the impact on shocks. This summer I'm going 37'' and change my shocks for the bilstein with reservoir, love the bilstein.

I asked this same question on another forum (not a jeep forum) and the replies swayed me to purchase the Bilstein shocks. There seemed to be an overwhelming opinion that the difference didn't justify the difference in cost.

If you get the fox don't get the ones you can dial in. I have to take a pair of pliers to them to turn the dial so I just leave them on 8
