Get a shock that is tuned by TeraFlex for that 2.5" kit. You don't want to get a shock that is too long or too stiff for you JK. Have you seen the ELKA's that TeraFlex offers?

I have the 5100's with a 2.5" spring lift. The ride on and off the trail is smoother than my old terraflex shock and bb. Can't comment on the fox shocks which are also highly rated also.

I have the Billsteins 5100 and am happy with them. For the performance to price value you can't beat them. Fox and especially Elkas are high dollar. 5100's I got for around $80 per shock. Plus they are covered for life of normal use.
