I backed off the adjustment screw, then went to tighten it when it got it all in stalled and I turned it a bunch clockwise and it never stopped turning. Is this normal? I figured here would be a point where it stops turning once its gets to the tightest adjustment....
I'll have to check mine, seems like it should stop turning at some point. Mines set on 16 clicks for now

No need to lift it. Check the positioning and set the clamp in the proper place. Helpful to have someone turning the wheel while you indicate placement.

I did not jack mine up either. Just had a neighbor crank the wheel with the jeep running. Worked just fine.

Also I had the issue with the tie rod clamp, I took a hand held torch that would typically be used for soldering, heated it up and clamped a pair of vice grips on both ends and started pulling with one hand and pushing with the other. Took a while, but got her opened up enough to come off.

Default Adjustments

From what I can tell, the higher the adjustments=road. To adjust higher, I'm guessing twisting it clock-wise?
