The bigger body has more oil in it and will stay cooler longer so you won't get shock fade. The internal bypass will eliminate the need for bumpstops and will take up those hard hits in high speed running. While crawling you really won't notice anything since you tend to move slow and the internal bypass will rarely be used.

They may be harder to get set up properly as you likely need to move the mounts to match your coil and tire size, picking the proper length will be important.

I have them and they are a very good shock. Mine are adjustable so you can set them for the conditions you'll be running in. They a great for running fast on trails and in the desert and Dirtman is right, they have an internal bumpstop that helps control bottoming out.
