I wouldn't worry about 40 or 50lbs....you'll exceed what you saved once you throw on bumpers and a winch

I've got the 35" MT MTZ's on steelies, this combo comes in at 106lbs/each. I also have and automatic with 4.10's. I'll tell you, I didn't use the Flashpaq until after the lift and tires went on, and I was impressed, I would almost say it seems snappier than before the flash and tires.

I'm running the 87octane tune and getting about 16.5mpg though I drive like an old man.

Not to hi-jack the thread, but I believe this is a relevant question. So MPG aside, what kind of extra wear and tear are we talking about with that much extra weight on each side? I mean, when you look at it, 18lbs is a lot in terms of rotational inertia!
