Default Fog lights for mounting a winch in the OEm bumper

What are some shallower fog light options to allow me to fit a winch in the stock bumper?

I'm about to copy woodyvw9's in-bumper winch mounting idea using the Warrior winch tray and a Warn XD9000i. From what Woody's told me, the OEM fog lights recess too far into the OEM bumper. So you have to replace them with something shallower like the PIAA 530s he used.

I'm trying to figure out what are the best fog light options for this sort of winch install. Some of the higher end LED fog lights mount the fog lights farther forward, but these are generally very expensive. I don't really want to spend $200+ on fog lights. Are there any cheap option that would look like stock? Or ways to mod the OEM fog lights?

I'd like to keep them street legal.

i used a TJ winch plate (60$) and mounted it directly on the frame of my JK.

very simple to do just involves a bit of cutting, a good drill bit for the four holes and some grade 8 hardware.

you could also mount the TJ winch plate the same as in that how to that you posted...i chose to put it on top of frame.
