Default Flat fenders w/35 x 12.50s with minimal lift - HELP!!!

Ok, I have a dilemma, I am ready to pull the trigger on trail grapplers 35x1250 on factory 18s. I have an 07 JKU Sahara and a wife that doesn't want my TJ's 4" ride on 35's. So I need to find a way to run my 35's and keep the lift to a minimum.. I have scoured this site and have found many ideas, but what I have found with minimal lift off road rubs. I was thinking about a teraflex leveling kit with flat fenders or a 2 inch leveling BB with flat fenders.. I would love to see if either of these combos work..

Add wheel spacers to your list.

Flat fenders and bumpstops and correct backspace, and you can run offroad with no lift and no rubbing. Add a lift, and you can use less bumpstop. If you disconnect, you will need more lift or more bumpstop.

Any combo can work. What you need to 'make it work' just depends on which direction you go.

I ran 325/65/18 duratracs (35s) with flats and no lift. 2" extended rear bumpstop will keep you out of the rear wheel well, and proper backspacing (4.5 or less) will keep you off the frame rails up front. If you're still rubbing throw a few washers on the steering stops and you'll be fine.

I gained 2" clearance with poly flat fenders. I like the look, I have a TF 2" BB with 285/70/17. Check out the pic and judge for your self.

Thanks guys, this means there is hope !! I really want to have my wife enjoy the truck.. Which fenders are you running in your photos? I like the poly's and they look great. I want some strong articulation since Rausch Creek and the Pine Barrens are my playgrounds. So I am definitely considering. After seeing your trucks this is making me feel better.. May even lower my TJ(remove the 1 inch body lift)..

I wish I had done this instead of the lift I put in. I might go back to stock and put flat fenders on. I am running 35's

I'm running Bushwacker flats. Unbelievably strong, but will pull off before doing body damage.

If you're concerned about total clearance look into a 1.25" bl from rough country. They have a nice adapter for us 6 speed guys. I'll be adding one onto my current 4" lift when I go to 37's.

I am running Bushwacker Flatties and 2.5 Tera Flex unlimited coil on my two door. I had to cut my rear guessets. But again I have 35x12.5x17 MTR on stock Rubicon Rims with 1.5 spacers, minus stock rock rails. Hardly any clearance , plus looked retarded with minimal clearance.
