Default Which Flat Fenders to go with?

my setup so far is 2010 rubi unlimited, 3.5" lift with 35" tires (4.5" backspacing). I want to replace the stock fender flares and was looking at the bushwacker flat fenders. However, I need at least 2" extra tire coverage over stock. The bushwacker ones say the same coverage as stock.

Does Bushwacker make an extended flat fender for more tire coverage? If not, what other companies make one with additional tire coverage?

Thanks

I believe Xenon makes an 1.5" "wider than OEM" flares. I'm not certain I've seen anything wider than that other than custom width steel fenders...

I think as long as you stay +/- to the width of your tires, the risk of a ticket is greatly reduced. I'ver run wider tires for years and never have been hassled by THE MAN.

However, that doesn't mean others haven't run into trouble with the Federales...

Best of luck...

thanks. Guy I work with has a TJ with a lift and bigger tires. He got a $150 ticket about a month and half ago. Also my main reason for the wider flares is that dirt and grime is being kicked up the side of my jeep all the time. If I run with no doors it gets inside and splashes up on my 4 year old daughter who loves to ride with me. She loves riding with no doors or tops. Shes always asking me to " break the doors" off.

Wider flares should take care of this problem.

Some forum members don't seem to like the Xenon fenders from what I've read. But if they are the only ones tha make a fender flare for my application, i guess i don't have much choice.

River Raider makes a factory width fender flare. I have the narrows and love them.

Nope, most of the flatties out there are stock width or narrower. The only thing wider than stock fenders are the Bushwacker pocket flares.
