Another vote for chopping the factory's. Flexible and easy to obtain if ruined. Best part FREE

Just never liked the options for side marker lights by cutting the stock flares. I still have the stockers if I ever tear up the Buswackers and don't want to replace them. I had thought about throwing em in the trash but I think I'll save them just in case.

I like the look of bushwhacker flares a lot! Buuuut, I can't force myself to spend an arm and a leg on them. So I chopped mine. Benefits being they're plastic therefore won't dent or bend, and if they break they're just a junkyard away for another one.

Those last sets of cut OEM's look really good! I installed my bushwackers myself, but if I had any kind if fab skills I would've done the OEM mod.
One bit of advice to anyone that wants to install bushwackers. Cut your liners with room for error. Much easier to trim them down than to make them fit if you cut them short. I cut one too short and now the gap is currently filled by good 'ol gorilla tape.

I like my cut OEM's, I cut my rear bumper also. I didn't like how it hung into fender well after I cut the flares.

I went pure jeep flat metal fenders...don't like the fitment... but the have saved my body over and over.
