Thanks. So next question... Is it possible to retain the engine splash inner linings if you trim the fenders?

Yep! I added a few sheet metal screws for added strength.

Nothing beats cut flares hands down, it's free and looks great and if you hit something they pop off and don't bend your fenders. If you mess up cutting them or break them they are still cheaper to replace than any aftermarket.

To be honest I like any either metal cloak, poison spyder, gen right, bush whacker. I personally don't like the trimmed look as they look flimsy to me. And they look like try tend to hang down some. Just my personal opinion.

Those trimmed flares look awesome! I never really liked the Bushwhackers or any other similar ones for that matter because from the front they always seemed to give the Jeep a weird dog-face with ears kinda look.
