Default Flat Black Wheels

I’m going to bump up to 37” Toyo’s and would like an all flat black aluminum wheel but the options seem really limited. Is there a reason for this?

Any suggestions?

Here are my XD Monster Matte Black wheels since I did not want shiny black wheels either.

I can't address why there are fewer flat black wheels than you think there ought to be, but I like the Procomp 7089s I have. They call them matte black or cast black, depending on who wrote the marketing copy.

Ah, yes, trail damage. But a good look at the wheel ...

You could also buy your favorite style of rim (besides chrome plated) and have them powder coated. I'm doing mine within the next few months. $300 for a set of 5. $60/wheel. Only problem is turn around time, I have to sit the jeep on blocks outside the facility for a day or two.

I have the XD Monster Matte Black as well, but in 18 in. I like them too, b/c they are not too over the top but are unique. I think that they look really good. Probably not the best if you do a lot of rock crawling. The only other problem I've had in them is that they collected a lot of snow and caused dealth wobble. I knocked off the snow and ice and they were good to go. I get lots of compliments on them.
