flaspac nightmare
unreal. thought i would give them a e-mail to see how my file is doing. i get a e-mail back telling me to run a update so they can see my programmer. and to call them back when done. what happened monday was the first read did not take. so now i have to wait another 5-6 days till its done. WHY DID YOU NOT CALL ME MONDAY WHEN THE FIRST ONE DID NOT TAKE???
that was pure stupidity on their part. period. if i would have not contacted them today, i would have no idea what was going on.
i am so close to being DONE with this. and just getting a refund.
GET IT TOGETHER SUPERCHIPS!!!
sorry, but that is pp customer service.

Hang in there brother. You're not alone, there several threads with similar problems. It's a very new product - only launched a few days ago.
Sounds like it'll be well worth the birthing pains!

Hang in there...
I too want to say "Hang in there" and thank guys like JPop, AlmightyCrash, PA Rubicon, Calypso and others who have jumped into these "First Adopter" waters as early adopters. This product has just hit the streets and as we all know, regardless of "internal testing" only real-world testing, with the variations that different vehicles present, will bring out all of the glitches.
In I.T. we call this the difference between "cutting edge" and "bleeding edge". You first adopters are running with bleeding edge technology.
I'm sure I'm not only speaking for myself when I say "Thank you".
Like others here, I'm waiting for Dave to get these things up on his website, and then I too will take the plunge into these somewhat unchartered waters.

It's always important that you run these updates in the foreground of your computer. No screen savers, no power saver modes, dsl or better connection and preferably no other applications running. Also minimize the other USB devices that are attached to insure that you have good power to the flashpaq. If you drop the signal with their server, your update won't go through and they won't have your stock vehicle settings.
After an upload/update I would certainly call them to make sure it went through in a case like this or at least send them an email, including your flashpaq serial number and a case number if available. That's how I conducted my support case as I was familiar with the computer issues on my end that led to a problem with my truck.
I am also sure Superchips is inundated with issues with Chrysler and dealer tweaks to the PCM. Thorough and timely responses through the process will not only assure that you get timely service but it will also help Superchips resolve the issues for others down the line. When ever working through these types of issues, and as someone who has to do a fair amount of tech support, you gravitate towards the customers who give you the best and most thorough feedback, in the end, that helps everyone and I wouldn't suspect because your particular file was delayed that it will set it back as far as the original amount of time they suggested.
