Default Flashpaq help!

I got an error on my 2009 jk using the 3870 flashpaq tuner, during my initial setup it says call superchips giving me #G-04 my jk is able to drive but It scared me and I tried twice got the same message

You should be using a 3875 on your 09, the 3870 is typically for the newer models.

I think they discontinued that but anyway I got it to work I replugged it into my computer updated it again, put on offroad tpms and now it works I don't get why but if any one else gets that error code just try what I did


Edit- oh I also just tried to start my car and it gave 3 clicks over.... Uh oh I freaked out for a little then thought ok my clock reset on the dash so maybe my battery is died, due to last time I used it I had the radio on loud after I ran it for 2 hours then it sat for 5 days.... Yup sure enough that was it! Threw it on the charger and in 20 minutes came back out and it fired right up with the tow tune installed and had everything I programmed!

So please make sure you have a fully charged battery not like me! I think I almost destroyed my computer by trying to do it with a discharged battery

good to know also I didn't know the 3870 was discontinued.

I don't believe it is, I just bought one a month ago. I had the same error and just reupdated the tuner and it worked fine.

I just checked the one for mine is a 3872 my JKU is a 2012.
