To the OP, I keep a small 2C cell maglight in the glove box. Another 3D cell maglight in the cargo well where the jack is located. BUT I keep my big 4D cell maglight attached near the back on my Raingler cargo net. If you don't have one, check them out. I keep my first aid kit, gloves, caribiners, leatherman pouch. After a few years of racing road courses & sportscars I don't want ANYTHING near my feet which can get knocked free or roll by the pedals. Safety first!

Me neither, I'm 6'3", that's why it's on the back side of the speaker bar. No one is under it and the clamp won't let go in a tornado. I used this same setup in my 4runner for years, never once came loose or budged.

Just get a Smittybuilt G.E.A.R. overhead console. I'm a gear junkie, and this baby has plenty of storage for everything! Just love it!

i mounted mine behind the soudbar also. has never even thought of coming loose. the only downside of it is when i have my steroe up full blast the flashlight will rattle a little bit

Mine is mounted toy driver side seat rail using the standard mag lite clamps.

I haven't looked much, but where did you guy's get them mag light clamps?
