Default Flashing computer

Hi! I checked out the search function before I wrote this but probably didn't use the right words. Is the service shop able to flash the JKs computer to have the fuel injection system react like a carb system? What I'm try to achieve is eliminating the delayed rpm response after I let off from the fuel peddle. I know there are reasons for this in the program (softening the peddle bounce while off-roading) but I'm willing to trade that off in favor of more throttle control when trying to "rock" the Jeep between forward and reverse. I fully realize that the JK is a "fly-by-wire" system...I just don't know if there is a timing feature programed into it that can be changed. Thanks... Mike

You ought to call your dealer and ask them if starscan will do it - otherwise you might call Hypertech. They could probably tell you if that's possible or not.

Mike, I personally hate the fact that the engine stays at the same rpm for a few seconds then goes down slowly after letting off the pedal.
