Fixing hard top help?
I have a 2011 jk hard top I just bought and the back drive side corner near the tail light looks like it might have been dropped and the fiber glass is kinda flared out its not noticeable but with it cause problems if left unfixed. I'm gonna get it fixed does anyone know how much it would cost thanks

I smacked a tree with mine a few years back and took a pretty good chunk out of the rear corner. I bought a fiberglass repair kit from a local part store, patched, and bedlined it and it is totally invisible.

It was made by bondo corporation. Very simple to do, has fiberglass matting, you soak that in the solution and lay it on. My repair was on a corner so it was a little tough to match the shape, But it turned out real nice. I then sanded and bedlined the section and it is totally un-noticable. Most part stores will have it. I don't remember the exact name though.

X2 on this. Its not that bad if you take your time. Then repaint or bedline the entire top.

I bought a less than stellar used hard top for pretty cheap. It has some damage at the rear driver's corner where the tailgate and rear window meet. Looks like it was dropped. There was also a pretty good gouge down the driver's side that was badly covered with touch up paint. I cut the damaged area off with my angle grinder. Then cut the other side to match. It was on the area that overlaps the tub. Not a critical area. The gouge was taken care of really easy. I just sanded the whole top and sprayed it with Raptor Liner. No more damage on a pretty cheap top.
