Default First big problem after 33s

Well had a buisnnes trip from VT to MA today. About three hour drive, nice day so was taking my time. Clutch still felt werid after first time going off roading this weekend with my new BF good atn 33 x12.5. Which was a blast by the way. Anyways didnt stop at my hotel went straight to a dealer that I happend to find on the way down and told him somthing isnt right. So we went for a ride. He said no somthings not right but it shouldnt be a problem and you should be able to make it back to VT on friday as plainned with out any trouble. Told me to take it to the deal in VT when I get it back up there. About 15 mins later while driving to my hotel i down shift and everything sames to be going ok untill i start hittin the gas again. RPMs go up and I go no where. Pulled over into a parking lot. Stopped shut off the car turned it back on and put it into gear. let go of clutch didnt stall just sat there. So I pushed in the gass and nothin. The jeep is in 1st this whole time. Tried Reverse same thing. It was just told to the dealer that said not to worry. AND NOW I HAVE TO PAY FOR A F***ING RENTAL CAR.

Any buddy had this problem.

I would suggest taking it back to that dealer ASAP and getting them to put you into a rental car and fixing your Jeep.

Since that dealer told you that it would last, then they should pay for your rental. Push them and they will give in. After all, it's their fault. They let you leave with the problem. Did you get any kind of copy of a Repair order from the first visit?

I thought Jeeps had roadside assistance for so many miles. I think they even give you stickers in your manual with 800 numbers on them. Maybe I am halucinating. I didn't pay much attention because I have AAA.

I was on the phone with them for like two hours and they said a number of times that they will not pay for it. Plus I think the problem is in the clutch and that isnt coverd under the warrenty

Why would a clutch that died in 4000 miles not be covered under warranty? I've had warped rotors taken care of under warranty with more miles than that.(Not on a Jeep.)
