Are Firestone MT good tires?
Someone local has a set (5) for sale for $850 with 1k miles
I wanted Duratraks for the snow here but not sure if i can pass up a used deal

I have 285's on my pickup. They SUCK in the winter. Other than that, I really like them. Good offroad, not too loud onroad (YMMV, I have a Cummins Dodge pickup that's already a little loud), wearing good, ride okay.

Check out Kelly Safari TSR
They are made by good year.
I have the same size listed above and got them for $210 installed out the door locally. No winter driving yet as I only got them a few months ago. Quiet, good in the rain and mud on my jobsite. Nice aggressive tread similar to the BFG ATs.
