Default Fire Extinguisher Holder

My local 4x4 club requires Fire Extinguishers in each vehicle. Anyone have a picture of a mount or a recommendation of what your using? If there's a good place to mount one, I'd prefer that to throwing it in the equipment bag.
Thanks, Nathan

I have the rugged ridge holders with some kiddie fire extinguishers from Target I really like them! They look great with the seat covers as well!

Those are both good ideas. ElovesC, how does your mount hold up off road? I'm wondering if the straps will slide or bang around when things get a little bumpy!

tgrt, what kid of bumper are you running? I've been looking for one that keeps the stock fog lamps, has a winch mount and will not effect the air bags.

I have not had any problems with them. They have 3 velcro straps and I tightened them down really well!

I just cut some little notches in the stock holder and put two zipties aroun it to the rollbar, Added two of those small ball bungies to stabilize and hold the ext in place. It doesn't move and is still easy to get off plus its cheap , bungies pack of 4 or 6 , can't remember ,$3 and zipties a few cents.

I used double-sided velcro strips and cut them to suit. They can be tightened enough to keep the extinguisher secure, but when the time comes, just RRRIPP! and it's off and ready to go.

If/When I have a fire, I'd rather not be screwing with cable ties and bungees, velcro is the way to go.

Cheers.

I used zip ties to secure the holder that came with my fire extinguisher to the rear
roll bar. The zip ties do not restrict the quick release of the extinguisher from the
stainless steel strap on the holder which in turn, keeps the extinguisher secure.

Mine are Rugged Ridge holders, I got from a local 4X4 shop. They hold a Kidde Mariner 2.5lb 10 B-C extinguisher yery securely, and cost about $19.95 per.
