Right now, $1522.80 on NR4x4 with the forum discount + no tax + free shipping. I paid a little less than that since I got em before the prices went up.

....vs $1200 for Metalcloak (you still pay for shipping and possibly sales tax) vs. ?? for RK vs. ?? for Synergy. What's the price for a set of RK's and Synergy's "best" arms that aren't long arms? Keep in the mind that as a "mid-arm", the J-axis are also good for 0-6" of lift.

....then you have to add $$ for lost time spent fixing / going back and forth with the mfg on questionable joints, replacements, rig downtime (rental car needed in the meantime?), etc.

You pay for peace of mind and what I believe is a better no-bind design if you're running a standard configuration using trackbars for a DD. In my case and personal view, the additional up-front cost was a no brainer and worse case you're only shelling out an extra $200 since in my case, I would have had to pay sales tax + shipping if I went with the Metalcloak's putting them at $1334.11 .....

If my DD rig is down for just 1 day, I spend much more than $200 on lost time / headaches + parts. Luckily I'm the "boss" and can take off when I need to if something needs to get fixed.

Also just a piece of advice, you should probably buy a cheap beater car for those "just in case" times, since it's so essential you have a car.
One can be had for $500 easily.

Never said you were bro-ski lol. But one can't say I didn't make at least 1 person (or more) think further on the JKS...

and there is the flaw with the arms.
There is a reason no one else is making an arm like this, they do not incorporate lateral flex to accommodate axle shift that occurs.
There are better arms out there for less money.

More reading for those interested.
