I have fixed the annoying flap on the 2dr Bestop Safari top. I did three things to stop the flap.
1. First I tied the back straps to the side of where the seatbelts attach. I had to use some straps to make it reach. The original instructions say to wrap it around the roll bar but that will cause it to slide forward.

2. Then I cut a slit into the top (see blue circle) and slid a 1/8" inch by 48" bar through the slit then glued the slit close. I think it was 1/8" thick, I might be wrong on the size, but it barely fit.

3. Then I popped some grommets off a tarp I had and made some holes in the back of the top and smashed them into place. I then used bungees to connect the holes to the rear window channel. I didn't want there to be an angle to the bungees (as far as left to right), meaning I didn't want the grommets being pulled sideways because I was concerned they might tear. Them being pulled up and down is fine becasue the metal bar gives a lot of support.

4. It still flaps just a little a highway speeds but it is quite.
