Final Tire Decision: Toyo MT or Cooper STT
#21
I ran stts on my last jeep. They performed great in rocks and mud. I put nearly 30k on them and had 50-60% tread when I sold it. Never had issues with chunking, and had three hard trips at rausch creek on them.

I had 35" stt's on my jeep before i went to trxus mt 37s. I hated the stt's they did fine on the road but off road they were the worst tire i have owned. I have a couple buddies that run toyos and they do alot better then my stts ever did. My new trxus mts top them both off road but are a little rough in the road. But i have ran boggers on my dd so i dont mind the truxs

I think I'm gonna have to go with the four toyos and after I get those and my lift installed ill just have to become a male escort to make money for the spare.

This is exactly what I did. In fact, just so people know, I got a big ass nail in one of my Toyos a couple weeks after getting them. I was gonna plug it on the spot, but I pulled the nail and the tire was barely leaking any air. I marked the spot and drove 20 mins to a tire shop to get it repaired. Honestly you'd really have to F'up a load range E toyo for it to leave you standed.

Go with the coopers trust me..no need for any fancy financing of a damn set of Tires..they're cheaper, extremely reliable and wear very well. Hands down the best mt for a DD IMHO.
