Default Few questions after new lift and tires

Joined the 35" club this weekend with 2.5" Teraflex 1251000, 18" Liquid Metal Gatlins, and 325/65R18's. pics coming soon.

Few questions:
-the air dam was rubbing. Should I cut it and put it back on or just leave it off? Also is there a better skid plate option for there?
-I am a little worried about the sharp part of the frame rubbing/cutting in the back. Should I be worried? If so, any mod ideas?

I would leave the air dam off, although the hood will flutter more at highway speeds. If this bothers you, just trim it, and reinstall. The part in the back is called the pinch seam, and it can be bent in or cut off with a grinder. Its an easy fix.

Im in the same boat, 2.5 teraflex and 35x12.50 tires. Can anyone give me an idea of how much I should trim and suggestions on how to seal that pinch weld back up. Im a wisconsin jeep and want to fend off the rust as much as possible

X2 on spray paint. You can go to the dealer and get a factory match color if you want.

What exactly is that cutter he is using? It seemed to cut it like butter. I'm definitely doing this if it is that easy.

Just bend it if you don't want it to rust or get into the body. After you bend it if the paint cracked spray it, otherwise it'll last longer and prevent rusting more so than a cut seam.
