The smittybilt ones look a little "off-road only" to me. Have you had any 5-0 mishaps with them yet?

5-0 means cops. The smitty's don't provide enough coverage to be legal in many states, depending on your tire width.

Bushwackers or the OE fender trim, in my book.

I'll just say both are good. If you want smaller flares then trim yours but if you mess up like I did ( wild turkey 101 ) then the xrc is the route I went. The bushwackers are legal and have side marker light & xrc does not. I've seen a few threads saying bushwackers are a PTA to install but I don't know from experience. I do know that the xrc where easy install & my opinion look great. and if you have cops that are pricks that live around you then guessing you should not go xrc route.
