makes sense I was looking at a set of 38x15.50x15s and I was trying to figure out just how in the hell that would work and if my 3.75 bs would work or if I need different wheels or what

I think that would rub badly. Figure it's 1/4" further out but 3" wider. That's a monster tire man.

Anyone with 37's running open diffs? I'm about to regear to 4.88 and I'm not sure that I want to spend the money on lockers due to the fact that I wheel very little and I live in a very flat area, no hard wheeling or anything...

Have you ever felt the need for them? With 37s properly aired down you'll be able to conquer a lot, especially if you're flexy enough. Personally, living and wheeling in CO I feel the need for lockers. It makes the trails we run safer. Remember to build for the future use of your rig too.

I guess I could see where they could come in handy, but here in Georgia, there's not a lot of stuff technical enough to need lockers. I agree with what you said about build it for the future, I just think for where I live and how I wheel currently, I could put lockers on the back burner for a little while.

Or go halfway and look into limited slip. Either way, if you Aren't rock crawling you'd be fine with a flexy build and a winch.

15 1/2" wide?

Thats not a typo?

those tires will actually alter your width a good bit for trail riding, almost like bringing a Jk on trails built by tj's or cjcj's post pictures, that should look pretty cool!

Not a typo, I definitely need wider wheels to pull that off. 3" wider yes, but only half of that is on the "inside" of the jeep

Supposed to be warm finally. Hope to chop fenders today. Then I'll see if I need coil spacers or bump stops.
