False Oil Change Indication?

False Oil Change Indication?
So, I changed my oil and filter @ 3300 miles.
I'm now at 8300 miles and ever since about 8000 miles I've been getting a Change Oil indication every time I start my Jeep. I switched from conventional to synthetic. Is there something else I should of done to my Jeep other than the standard, drain the oil, add new oil, and change new filter?
2016 JKU Sport S if it helps.

Just reset the indicator and run it until you're ready to change the oil. I do longer intervals as well since I'm all highway miles so the computer doesn't calculate things correctly.....IMO.

I'd love to hear how you decided that it does not monitor and account for your highway driving. Everything I have read from people who actually understand these systems agree that the systems are extremely reliable and with built in conservative measures that account for everything except for mechanical failure such as gasket/injector failure. So you must have seen something from one of the design engineers that I have not been able to locate.

Your mileage may vary but I'm not a 'new' owner who is basing this off of two oil changes. This forum has a bunch of members that sign up, do all the usual stupid shit to the jeep, then sell it in a year.....yet they're an "expert" because they've put 6 months and 5k miles of driving in.
Along with my miles, the jeep has been trouble-free. No water pump issues, no oil consumption issues, none of that. I replaced the poorly designed throwout bearing but realistically- that's it. I'm doing something right or my jeep was built under the supervisor's watchful eye.
Not calling anyone out by name but we've all seen the threads of asking "what's best" and then "what's it worth".

I seem tore all the oil change indicator comes on every 7500. I may be confusing this with another vehicle I've owned. I change every 3k so I've never worried about it. I just reset it when it pops up.
Newer vehicles do account for oil quality bared on engine use vs mileage.

Really is based on a number of algorithms. The computer monitors how the vehicle is driven (using a multitude of sensor data) to determine when the oil should be changed. I know on some vehicles it will flash at 3k miles of you have been driving aggressively or 7500k if you have been driving like a grandma. Either way, there is no magical sensor that is testing the actual oil in the engine to see of it's still doing its job. Of your the type of person to change it every 3k, that's awesome. You will likely never have an issue caused by lack of lubrication, but I personally would never go 7500k miles on an oil change. I use Amsoil and they recommend much longer intervals but it freaks me out. I would rather change my oil 2-3 times a year and know that every component in my engine is getting the best lubrication it can, especially with the right tolerances of these modern engines. That's my two cents.
