Looking at new tires for my 2011 Rubicon, and had learned about the Falken tires both from the JK Experience posts and from other members. Both look, from my research to fit in the same general category as the Nitto Terra Grapplers - 60/40 Road/Play.

Curious if anyone has opinions of the differences between Falken's positioning of the Rocky Mountain ATS versus the Wild Peak. I am finding about a $50 difference between the two (RM ATS - $182, WP - $230), and as I am buying 5 of these am trying to determine if the $250 is worth it.

Same tire, different name for Discount Tire. Same compound same tread pattern.

 

Yup 100% same tire, called in and talked to DTD and ordered a set of Rocky Mtns. $164 per tire for 33's

Been real happy.

 

Thanks, just wanted to make sure. I would bet that Falken has a plan somewhere, and actually both tires were listed on Discount Tire Direct. Very glad to hear that you are having a good experience with the Rocky Mountains.
