Uh, all wheels require maintenance. Otherwise they would, you know, just fall apart. Seems like odd wording. Even the fake ones require maintenance, so the plate doesn't fall off.
They are illegal in some places here as well, but unlikely to get you pulled over. However, if you are speeding, they'll just add another fine to the mix.

Sorry but this ain't my first rodeo.
I've wheeled across N.A. for 34 years since I got my own wheels at 16.
I've also put on 6051 kms in Italy and France in the past two years.
If I was truly concerned about protecting the appearance of my aluminum rims or the factory stems because of possible trail damage I wouldn't be shopping for fake bead locks.
See many alum rims on commercial or military offroad vehicles?

You're more likely to be better off with sacrificial steel rims and incredibly short threaded valve stems.

But hey...' fessing up to the bling thing isn't all that bad.

Yea what he said about the laws. The biggest draw back with REAL bead locks on a daily driver is balancing and weight. How many real bead lock wheels you seen going down the hwy. And the ultimate challange rigs don't count.

How do those attach to the wheel? Are they available for all wheels?

Stay with the local Mall parking lot and you shouldn't have ANY problem scratching your precious Jeep rims! Scratches on a Jeep!

Hey cuz, I'm far from a mall crawler, but I don't see a point in throwing away money on new rims evertime I destroy some while wheeling. Maybe your pockets are deeper than mine so you don't have to worry about that
