Default Fair Price ??

Finally found a place to do my regear, if i provide everything and they do all the labor I'm looking at $1200 total for both axels....This place has a good rep for doing general automotive work and the are the only ones anywhere near who will do a regear....

That's decent if it includes the labor, gears, and install kits. Kind of high if it is labor only.

if it includes parts, I say it is a good deal. That is almost exactly what I payed. What brand gears they use?

Sounds a little high. Still pricing it out but strictly labor I am seeing about 1000.

not sure of the brand, but Rusty's has a good deal on parts right now....$399 for front AND rear (d30/d44) ring & pinion + overhaul kits....this is more than likely what i will go with when it comes time to do so....
