Factory lift/35s on new Rubicon

Factory lift upgrades
Mopar lifts can be either 2" or 4.5". You need to go after market for 35's
I had the 2" installed when I got mine. The ride is excellent, even better on road than the stock. Got ProComp 17X9 wheels and ProComp 35X17X12.5 XMTs. No rubbing experienced yet.

Factory? Or the dealer installed 'rebranded' Mopar lifts?
For the dealer installed, go talk to your dealer. My local place charges $2010 installed for the 2", and $6275 installed for the 4.5". And they are covered by a 12 months parts only warranty. NOT by any factory backed warranty. Your dealership can also set you up with seriously overpriced tires as well as their seriously overpriced lifts, if you choose to buy tires there also...

OK, I thought the Rubicon could be ordered with a lift and 35s from the factory? And also an option for Warn bumpers etc. I know Jeep will charge more for the 35s, but why buy the 32s just to scrap them or sell them for a loss just to turn around and buy new 35s? I figure if the factory puts on the lift and 35s there should be no issues with the ride or rubbing.

You are right. Dealer installed Mopar lift. All-in costs were just under $2000.
12 month warranty on parts and suspension. No impact on rest of factory warranty.
Agree to shop elsewhere for wheel(or backspacers) and tires.
Holy smokes on the 4.5" lift

After reading Wayolife`s mess with his Jeep, Chrysler should really go into expanding the options list so people wouldnt be criminalized for having liftkits, aggressive bumpers and bigger tyres. And not all of us are born mechanics. I could easily do some installing myself, but I would be lying awake at night wondering about excessive wear, torque settings, things falling off and ultimately, fatal accidents.
