Default Fabtech 5" rock crawler lift kit w/dirt logic shocks

Does anyone have any info/feedback on this lift kit? How does it perform? What lift kit is comprable to it?

Somone in Dubai is installing that. I believe the thread is in the extreme mod. section. Personally I don't like this system. They use radius arms instead of a 3 or 4 link i.e. less flex. Also its like a ~mid arm length lift i.e. less flex / rough riding. If I was going to hack off all the stock mounts and weld on new ones I would certainly install a long arm system...especially for 5 inches of lift. It would probably be ok for high speed desert stuff, but even still I think off road evolution's systems are better engineered. They utilize long arms with single or dual coilovers depending on the application (crawlin/wheelin or high speed desert) so you get the same performance from the coilovers with more travel and a nicer ride.

for that kind of coin, the EVO coil overs are a MUCH better option!

Are you installing this or paying to have it installed. If your doing it lemi know I wouldn't mind helping out...but seriously for the trails we have here get the Evo system...it articulates like crazy.
