Default I really really want to purchase this carrier...

Anyone running OEM wheels preferably the Rubicon with larger tires and this carrier?
I want to know if they work well. OR-FAB said I may have to run my spare backwards?

Theres a guy in my area that runs an Or-fab carrier with the rim mounted backwards. I would just opt for a 2 inch wheel spacer or something. You can pick up a cheapie spacer off ebay for like 20 bucks

is it because of space issues or that the mating surface for the plate isn't flush to the wheel surface?

Love my or-fab! Was a little challenge to put on, but very happy with it!

I have a 35" GYDT, 3 rotopax cans, a shovel and a hi lift.

It ain't going anywhere!

Love my OrFab carrier, absolutely no issues at all. Solid, no rattles and as previously said...Made in the USA!!!

Here is a pic of mine with my 37's, also when I first installed it with my stock tire/wheel combo
